I love my job! I get invited to experience some of the most precious moments in family’s lives. This past Sunday I was able to photograph the birth of the Lucas family’s third child, Josiah. What a beautiful experience.
It did get a little crazy at one point. One of the midwives in the room had her own baby but she was needed to help with Josiah’s birth. So… I did what any photographer would do… I grabbed the baby. =) So during the birth I was taking photos with one hand while holding a baby with the other.
Well, I put together a little slide show of the birth. I hope you enjoy.

oh my gosh! im crying...it reminded me of troys birth and how intimate it should always be...and the song...wow..im still crying!
