On October 31st I received a call from my uncle who is a local minister and performs weddings. His wedding he had scheduled for Friday November 2nd had no wedding photographer. Late Tuesday night, the bride had received an e-mail from her wedding photographer that her house had burned down and would not be able to photograph her wedding. I quickly called the bride, Leah, who was sitting at the airport waiting for her flight here. I told her, we would make it happen. I don’t normally take more then one wedding in a weekend but I couldn’t turn her away. I am so glad I didn’t. I had such a blast photographing their wedding. They are such a beautiful couple and they have such a great group of friends and family. I am so glad I was able to be there for them.
